Batman investigates the mysterious attacks of a giant sea monster on two ships, Hal Torson's yacht and Lester Guinn's launch. He and Robin don scuba gear, shoot at the creature with spear guns but their weapons bounce off. The monster's tail whips around, catching Robin in a brace of seaweed; he tries to escape but Batman cuts him free.
The Sea Beast
Animated by Chris Williams, The Sea Beast is a high-seas swashbuckling tale that channels Williams' affinity for movies like King Kong and Raiders of the Lost Ark. It also pays homage to old nautical maps and other illustrations of sea monsters that inspired him to become an artist and filmmaker.
The main story in this film is centered around a young girl named Maisie Bramble (voiced by Zaris-Angel Hator) who loves to champion the heroism of a legendary ship that hunts giant sea monsters. She idolizes the Inevitable, a ship she learns to love when she sneaks away from her stifling group home and boards it.
While she’s aboard, Maisie gets swept up in the hunt for a mysterious sea creature known as the Red Bluster that captured her and Captain Crow’s attention decades ago. She soon develops a strong bond with the creature, nicknamed Red.
The Tiger Gang
The Tiger Gang is a gang that began as a drug-dealing ring. The gang grew and became the largest gang in the United States.
The gang was influenced by Batman138 overseas triads, but the gang members themselves are American born Chinese. They primarily live in Queens, NY.
They were often involved in violent conflicts with other gangs, such as the Green Dragons. Their activities included extortion, kidnapping, illegal gambling, racketeering, drug trafficking and murder.
In addition, the gang intimidated and killed people who didn't pay their drug debts or cooperated with police. There were fire bombings and Molotov cocktails thrown into Northern Virginia homes, gang members testified in court Thursday.
In February 2019, the Reccless Tigers exacted revenge on a federal witness named Brandon White. After he refused to wipe a drug debt that the gang owed them, they murdered him in Richmond, VA.
Simple Simon
Simple Simon is an electronic game of short-term memory skill. It was invented by Ralph H. Baer, a prolific figure in the world of computer games.
Despite its simplicity, it is extremely challenging to play and to master. That is why it is important to learn how to play this game.
Simon is a game that requires a lot of attention and it will be even harder to play if you are not aware of the rules. Therefore, it is very important to follow them in order to have a good time and be successful in the game.
To be a good Simon you have to follow a few simple rules. For example, you should try not to give commands that are too difficult, especially if there are kids playing the game. Also, you should slow down and give them time to respond to your commands. If you do this, they will have a great time and they will enjoy the game more.
The Planetarium Caper
In the early part of batman138, the Adler Planetarium is experimenting with a new sensibility. The old sense of the cosmos as a place where humans can learn about their own place in the universe is being replaced by a radical Copernican vision that seems to suggest that a visitor should have no idea where they stand, but rather feel overwhelmed and disoriented by the vastness of the cosmological expanses.
This sense of awe and trepidation is particularly apparent in its planetarium-themed "TimeSpace" show, where rotating tubes seem to become special-effects passageways whirling visitors through an impossibly intricate history of the universe. It's a vision that can be disorienting, and it's one that suggests that the contemporary planetarium has lost its way.
It's a great shame, because the Adler Planetarium understands how important that order is to our understanding of the universe. It's what makes it such a fascinating place to visit. It is a place where we can be entertained, and even educated, by the beauty of the cosmos, but also by the esoteric language-independent iconography that it carries.
